| Material Introduction |
This product is a reinforced sheet made by modifying asphalt with thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber (SBS)
high polymer and additives, through processes such as base impregnation, calendering, cooling, coiling, and cutting.
Generally, the width is 1m, thickness is 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and each roll is 10㎡ or 7.5㎡. After asphalt modification,
the low-temperature flexibility, high-temperature stability, extensibility, adhesion and aging resistance are improved.
The base of this type of membrane includes polyester felt, glass fiber felt, composite felt, etc. Its surface coverings
include polyethylene (PE) film, aluminum foil, sand, rock sheet, etc.

| Construction Key Points |
1. The base surface shall be firm, flat, dry and clean;
2. Apply base treatment agent;
3. Key points for hot-melt welding and paving of membrane: Workers hold a special welding torch, ignite the flame,
heat the membrane and the corresponding base surface back and forth horizontally. When the PE film of the membrane
is melted into a network and the asphalt is bright, immediately roll forward and press flat to expel internal air. Seal and
close the edge of the hot-melt asphalt membrane after cooling, and press tightly;
4. The lap joint, additional layer and loss coefficient of the membrane are about 20%;
5. Construction is not suitable when the ambient temperature is lower than -10℃ and the wind is above level 5.
